This section is due to be a show case for images that are not necessarily the most aesthetically attractive, but are selected instead because of their incredible complexity, resolution, number of emitters, or other technical criteria.
These are top record works that go beyond a simple render, enjoy!

This is one of the latest tests using the -hd option in the command line. It was rendered at night in an AMD 3200 whinchester 939. The Maxwell benchmark is not very good due to the high disk activity, we still have to improve this option a little bit. The sampling level reached is 6. The number of polygons is near 2 million.
I uploaded a reduction to 12% of the original size. I am now trying to upload the high resolution one, but I am having problems to convert such a big image to a JPG format using less than 5 Megabytes and keeping some quality.

Light is scattered through a semitranslucid object (green) that generates caustics in the glass ball and in the mirror.
> 3 RENDER AT THE SAME TIME By Tonfarben
TECHNICAL INFO
I just rendered 3 files (mxs=250Mb) at the same time, last night I started the render and this morning my PC (dual xeon 2,8 Ht with 2 Gb RAM) was running perfectly.
The file is very large (I don't know how many polygons).
xref 6 files with many important faces & poly, in fact the time for a render is very long (1°img 4h 23', 2°img 8h 52', 3° img more then 12h). When I render a single image I finish a render in 2h 20', but tonight I will just sleep...
