Hi everyone,

We’re pleased to let you know that we have released an update for the Maxwell Render plug-in for Modo (version 301 and 402), bringing many improvements and fixes.

For a complete overview of the release notes, please go to:
http://www.maxwellrender.com/news/updates_031610.php

This plug-in update is available from the download area which you can access via the customer gateway at https://portal.nextlimit.com using your personal login data.

Specific installation instructions for Mac OSX users:
If the user is experiencing issues with the installation, this is probably because the new installer was not able to delete the previous version of the plug-in. If Modo starts with a "!common:2" warning message after the installation, this means that the main plug-in config file from the previous plug-in version is still active. In this case the user should navigate to the "modo app folder" > Contents > Resources and delete the old config file "modosFriendMaxwell_module.CFG". The "modo app folder" can usually be found in /Applications/modo.app.

We hope you will enjoy this plug-in update. If you have any queries, then please feel free to contact us via the customer gateway contact form.

Cheers,

Nicole
