Is it possible to expose more parameters of the Maxwell material in the Slate editor? I cannot see bitmaps in there, and it would be great to be able to use float controllers to wire parameters together too. The latter is something I do a lot to link things like UV tiling between various maps so I can easily control scale of maps across complex materials. Same thing with bump values, but those I think are working okay now.

It would also be really useful to be able to use Slate to link the BSDF layer of one material into another so you could create interdependent but still different versions of a material (for example a base material layer of wood, and but have two different gloss levels set up in two different materials). I do this kind of thing all the time with other shaders/engines and it's a function I really miss in Maxwell.

Any of it possible?

All these things should just work, but they don't because the slate editor is just a big hack built on top of a badly designed system. We'll see if we can do anything about it.

:)
I've used it since it was Node Joe and while it is quirky it is an extremely useful workflow for complex materials. If some of these things could be done it would be great. Thanks for looking into it.
