Hi Jeremy,

I'm having issues with display tag when rendering. I've created a cloner object (mograph) and applied to that cloner object a display tag. Inside display tag I've activated LOD and scale to 10%. This tag is supposed to work only with render view, and when using render to picture view the tag is ignored and all meshes are rendered. That is the way C4D's native renderer works.

But If I render the scene with maxwell, the tag is not ignored and only 10% (scale to 10%) of meshes are rendered. This behavior makes difficult to work with bigs and complex scenes. Could you change that in order to works as native rendered.

Thanks in advanced,

josé

Got it, for R12+ -- do you think the plugin should render the display tag LOD in Maxwell Fire, and full LOD in Maxwell Render, in order to follow along with the Cinema render to render view > picture viewer pattern?

Thanks Jeremy for the reply. Yes, I think it would make sense to work that way, display tag LOD in Fire and full LOD in Maxwell.

Cheers,

josé

This (display LOD in Fire) is implemented in version 2.6.11.
