I was one full day fighting with the lost materials of the imported instances and I was about become mad before this patch...
The patch fixed the problem with the materials but now it seams to be another problem. The lights based in specific IES files are not working. :?
I have a project stoped by this, please, someone have a solution?
Thanks

I am not able to reproduce a problem with IES lights -- could you please elaborate and/or provide an example file which demonstrates the issue?

Sorry for my late to reply.
Well, it seams to be a kind of random problem... The first time I got it I was trying to solve it for some hours and I didn't make it. I had to simulate the IES effect with a standar light and some obstacles in front like a lends.
Today I got back to the same file and I got the same result... no IES lighting correctly displayed and in the FIRE window there is an advise: "AccessViolationException @ CmaxwellRender::startRender()" and the lights are not rendered like IES.
BUT, after close and open de program again, same sceene, same IES, same parameters, the IES are working correctly.

So... I don't have an idea about what happened, why it didn't works first and then it does, or if it would happen again. :?:
How can I send to you the Rhino sceene with the IES files used included or how can I post the pictures so that you can analyse it?
Thank you very much for your support.

An image would not be enough, I would actually need to be able to reproduce the issue. Your mention of variable behavior and intermittent access violation points to running out of memory -- is this occurring in Rhino 4 or Rhino 5 x86? It is possible that the IES file is corrupted in some way; it would be necessary to send this file (jeremy at nextlimit dotcom), and hopefully a simple Rhino file that uses this IES, so that I can observe the problem here.
