Hi,
anyone tried to use some kind of laser beam in Maxwell?
light? vector? grasshopper? Anithing at all?

do you mean the "geometry" of the beam or the rendered effect?

there is the >bounce< command in rhino which extends a line over N reflections after hitting a surface.

you could use this to "build" the beam...

rendering itself i would just use a emitter material with some opacity map, propably stretched over the long u/v side of the surface created from the bounce line.. maybe a small pipe.
