Hi all,

I have been using the modo plugin to render my scenes, but have been solely creating materials within the modo shader tree - i have to say i am totally happy with the results.

Should the correct workflow be:
1. to re-make all my materials with the maxwell material editor.
2. only re-make more complex materials.
3. let the plugin convert as I am currently doing.

I obviously want to get the best from the maxwell renderer, and am curious to what others do with regards to materials.

Best Regards,
Matt.

Hi Matt,

I am happy automatic material conversion works for you!

If you use mxm materials you have better control over the result and this is good because:
- you can reach better quality
- you can create materials with faster render times (you have more control to optimize the material)
