Hi Ricky,

I've been trying to get in touch with Gnomon and DT to get them to do a Maxwell Render tutorial DVD, but unfortunately their selection processes are long: they don't just make DVDs on request! Meanwhile we're looking into other possibilities: Mihai has recently set up his online training classes (see http://www.iliuta.com/courses/courses.php), we have set up Think! and we're speaking to a few other people who could possibly create tutorial DVDs or offer classes, etc etc. Of course, anything new will be announced on the Maxwell website.

Cheers,

Nicole

I would rather see you guys try Digital Tutors or CG Academy rather than Gnomon. The Gnomon DVD's I have, or have seen are impressive, don't get me wrong. But i just think we need some step by step lessons with good explanations on the intricacies of the software, especially the materials. I personally think one should look at the Luxology training material for a good start. My 2 cents worth.
