 Post subject: Lamp Shades

I need to recreate a lamp shade that will let light come thru. But im at a loss as to do this material wise. Do i use a SSS material or what.

If it's going to be a main light source in your scene, then don't use SSS. It will be noisy.

So if i don't use SSS what material would i use. Do i need to use a material with transmittance? What I'm after is a material like this
