Well this time I must test Maxwell thoroughly so what I would like is an extended demo period, it can be save disable, watermarked etc, I just need more than 30 days to go through the Known issues from V1 plus test new features...

I will blindly buy my new license when it first appears for sale. After all, they are Oscar award winners!

I am excited about version 2 and I will try to have patience in waiting for more news...

On another note:
Next Limit is "damned if they do, damned if they don't" regarding releasing new information. Before, people were bitching about no news, now with an official announcement of V2, people are bitching because it's not enough. You guys crack me up!

A tiny tip of the iceberg: a new feature will enable users to do a search in the MXM gallery website, directly from the MXM browser on their computers. Users can search by material name, keywords, color and category. A material from the search results can be directly drag/dropped into a scene or onto an object - it will be automatically unzipped.

Well I'm not really impressed here, I hope that is not concidered a "BIG" feature by NL. I am not saying is a useless feature but NL needs to take control of the MXMgallery as it stands now you have to go through a lot of crap until you get what you want, Most users they don't even know how to name their textures

True that so far the news released about 2.0 ain't gonna wake up the dead.. ALOT more is required for that to happen. But we'll see in 3+ months when the next little piece of 2.0 news is released to us. :D

I must say too, the tip of the iceberg is nothing more than cool but more. After using maxwell for so long my material library is quite complete so most of the stuff in MXM gallery is not needed. What needed is SPEED or at least more intelligent engine (RS2?) that will know where to put in the CPU power and will allow me to create light patterns, AGS with no noise, clear metal reflectors... without having to buy new PC's and extra licenses. I agree you have to pay for improved product but it must be worthy for people like me (small offices...).
