An Update! revamped some materials and the lighting still have a few things to sort before I'm happy but
its great to have a cleaner render :D

looking great! the one thing that i noticed right away that makes it look CG are the dvd cases in the shelf...they look too squarish and too smooth of a reflection. I'd add a very slight, large scale, displacement map to make the plastic covered laminate not look identical from case to case. Also, as I mentioned, the label wrapping around those case spines is too squarish and hard edged. Great image!
