No, but I'm going to try. I think it works as a still image, but I have my doubts about an animation. This one just happened to turn out to look like semi-convincing fire/smoke, but put in motion, I bet it wouldn't.

I'm guessing the water had roughness 0 to get those caustics.

I'm curious what this render looks like at low sl..

Yes, roughness 0. At low S.L. it looks pretty bad, with the noisy caustics showing up early.

Glinting waves, cool idea :) scattering isnt quite sharp enough.. kind of stating the obvious.. is the water completely smooth? is Motion blur on? Would be great to see a still shot with perfect glints, just hope simulens is up to the job?

The water mesh is probably a little too coarse. You can see some polygons.
