I'm trying to create the correct look for an aluminum cylinder...following some old posts about angle maps, not sure what they are and where
they go.

Thanks

Okay...here are the cylinders...I'm using a radial blur in the reflective channel only. Suggestions for making it more realisitic much appreciated.

I think it looks pretty good already, perhaps a bit more reflectivity but not too much because you wanna keep some of that blurriness. Here's my test, but it's no way near perfect yet.

Max-

Thanks for the feedback...is your map in reflective channel only? Will try adjusting roughness.

You're welcome, no my maps are placed like this which from what i can see in your rendering. Your maps appears to be the same as mine. The bumpmap is obviously the same as the anisotropymap.

Ahhh...the angle map...don't have that -- wasn't sure what to do with it. Gotta try it out.
