the ground floor tiles look great! Those ones will definitely be considered for buying when the bunch is finished.

The 1st tile floor show my concern exactly concerning the specularity: when I'd choose a batch of floor tiles / wooden floor I'd want it to have the same finish.it might vary a little bit in colour due to being a natural product, but such un-uniform specularity as the 1st tile pic shows - i'd claim my money back as it looks like 3 or 4 different tile batches with a similar colour and size.
You get what I'm referring to?

but the same is there for some wood floors, where the shininess is usually not influenced by the coloring, lightness or darkness of the wood, but by the way it is polished, it was cut .... But still - according to the pics of the intro video showing the maps you do the specularity with a desaturated colour map. this is not right for wood floors, ok?

macray are you refering to some wood floors posted on any of these previous pages? (as these arent the latest versions but tests) I understand what your saying its not your typical specularity map format but a rather like you say a almost desaturated colour map but it does vary on what look you are trying to achieve kind of user preference as even on arroway's site they recommend you to tweak their bump or reflectivity maps to suit its usage :)

Im not saying my way is right or wrong but a preference :)

even if they are doing that - does that mean everyone has to follow their example? Can't you do it better from the start?

but yes, that is what I'm referring to. If these were just preview things, then I'm sorry but you have one more thing to work on to NOT confuse potential customers. :)
Have a good night and keep on showing such great kick-ass floor material. The tiles look way better than the wood to me.
