Hey! beautiful and clean renderings there :) i like them mathematical shapes myself, been doing that in the past with different programs but then i rendered them with Zbrush 2 instead heh.
Which programs do u use to generate your meshes with ?

Ahh, thank you for this test 8)

I see the 6 bounce image (other than less illumination) it also has more noise at the same sample lever.
Did the 6 bounce image take 16h55min ?

Heh, how in the world can you render with 100 bounces ?! that gotta take atleast forever plus some more.. or you got one huge renderfarm there with supercomputers in it. I can't see it being possible otherwise..
Btw.. i checked your website/forum, nice and interesting stuff going on there. Too bad my german is somewhat rusty heh :/

Very interesting test. I have never tried 100 bounces before

So it seems:
100 bounce@s20 = 36hours
6 bounce@s19 = 7hours

I wonder if the result can be approximated using 6bounces and adjusting the emitter and/or the tonesmapping values.

By the way, your art is quite interesting. Very interlaced designs. How do you come up with these things? Your mind must has a lot of neurons... to many

Also, thank you for your contributions with the scanned models !

The top is awesome, perfect :)
The silver part though.....I don't know....just doesn't look so elegant.

I wonder how Oscar feels when he saw the results of his amazing code...
It must be a god-like feeling :P Does life become more meaningless?
