In fact this was not made by Gabriel Dawe but by Anne Lindberg: http://surfaceandsurface.com/2012/06/10/anne-lindberg/ And wasn't made with nylon threads as I said but with rayon threads.

I made a fast Google search of Gabriel Dawe's work and it's awesome too.
