i am trying to render some ligths on a floor...
i assigned emitters to boxese on this floor but they render black...
i have tried everything... flip normals redoing boxes, doublesiding... mirroring the face... nothing ...the upper face ( the face seen from above) render black the under face( face seen from under) render correctly..
i invert normal.. mirror the face...the behaviour is the same..
i am wondering
emitters can be seen correctly just from down to up and not viceversa?
p.s. i posted this also in the lw plugin section... dont know iF IS just a PlUGIN PROBLEM THOUGH

What happens if you hide everything but the emitter boxes? Do they render correctly then?

other objects are already hidden!!
for instance... if i rotate 180 degree the face on the right ite keeep rendering black if seen from above
...(the box is not an extruded face.. is just a box)
... must try if this happen also in mxst

I suggest tripling the emitter polygons. I don't know why, but it helps.

Image

untripled version rendered black on most faces
