just wondering if it's possible to render diffuse and reflection pass in one go (separately)? there are lot's of different passes that i can choose to switch on or off but it seems like the reflections/diffuse are mutually exclusive? is there a reason for this?

I would also be interested in rendering those two passes in one go. Is there a way to automate it ?

Currently it can't be done in one pass. If it's not in the Wishlists yet, though, it belongs there. It's sort of a no brainer in my opinion.
