Quick question regarding Maxwell's poly subdivision when rendering.

If I have a simple plane, such as one used for a stage or a bounce wall, does it matter how many polys I construct it out of? In Maxwell's subdivision calculations is there any speed difference between a plane with 1 poly and a plane with 400?

In theory, yes. More triangles mean more calculation but, your plane example won't suffer too much about speed. Maybe only %1 or even less.
