I have seen this is several of my images in the reflections. Interior and exterior. You can see it in the windows.

Any ideas?

Funny!

There's no texture in the glass material, true?

I would say it has something to do with material settings or glass geometry - notice how it represents the POV as it would be 'photographer'

Just AGS from wizard?
Hmm... ok, what will happen if you replace that glass geometry with a simple plane (one from the 'Studio primitives')?

BTW, I hope it's not some sort of double/triple glazing?

it is a simple 1" thick pane with ags. It justed started doing this on my last few jobs using form-z. I have not noticed using Blender though.

Maybe it has something to do with camera ranges?

my guess is (I don't know your software but) that maybe a clip plane in the camera settings is causing that. like it's clipping the surrounding sphere and you get a circle in the POV.

What happens when you hide everything else and render the glass alone?

Sorry, I have not checked this post in a while. I have not tried to sove it. I will do as Tom says and see what happens. In the mean time I finished the project in Blender and everything rendered fine. No circle. So....It was only doing this in Form-Z to Maxwell Render.

I don't think its the glass, I have had this as well.
I am sorry for mentioning this as I do not know what causes it but I have noticed this appearing on my renders before.
Are you using c4d? Strangely I have noticed something similar occurring to my stitches in ptgui which is just bizzare...
does this occur in fire?
