Mirror, thanks very much to Aji Enrico. :D

V1.1 version. http://www.rendertools.se/Tim-Ellis_MFCP-mxm_V1-1.rar

V1.0 version! :http://www.rendertools.se/Tim-Ellis_MFCP-mxm.rar

Notes:-

 Included in the winrar file are three versions of the paint, red with silver flakes, black with silver flakes and green with gold flakes.
 The included jpeg map used for the flakes, needs to be in the same directory as the mxm files.
 If you do move it, you will need to redirect the mxm reference to the file.
 Increase or decrease the tiling for the flake map to suit your model. Do this through the load map button in the material editor.
 Remember to change the tiling for the weightmap, thickness map & reflectance map for the flakes layer.
 Change the reflectance 0' & 90' colours, of the two base layers and the flakes to suit your requirements.

Enjoy and I hope it is useful.

Tim.

I don't get to use Maxwell at all at the moment so here the three glossy mats before it's vaporware.

Thanks a bunch raph, that's one great looking metal

congellous: Usually i use the Pack & Go feature in Studio to assemble small materialscenes with all textures included into dirs for quick and easy access so i know which textures belongs to which material, it makes it alot easier to keep track of it all if you do so. But if you don't use Studio then you could ofcourse do it manually..

here's a fiberglass mat I was playing with today:

Image

this one has a diffuse map which fakes those tiny little fibers, the same mat without it would look like this:

here are mxm and textures:

That first fiberglass is great. Rendering Eames shell rockers perhaps? :)
