only in the script editor it's nearly impossible to work since the cursor has the same color as the background ... could i change that ?

hi,
does somebody else has problems with the 2nd video series?
i downloaded them 3x and always i get problems (terrible noise or crash) after half of the movies length? i have winxp sp2 with QT7.

Check the file size, sometimes they don't fully download and you get that funny static noise. I had to download one of them 3 times before I got the whole thing.

yes i watch them in OT player(after manually downloaded it).

visual impact thats an idea i will look, thanks.
edit, yes file size isnt big enough. i guess it ended too early. i try again...

Awesome tutorials Mike! Especially the 242. Stupid question: This doesn't
count for emitters right? Only materials.

That's correct - but only for the emitter layer itself. If you use an emitter layer+BSDF layer, then the BSDF layer still should obey the 242 rule. But if you delete all BSDF's and just use an emitter layer, then you are not bound by the rule.

I had the same problem at the very end of part 1.

I downloaded this part again and it worked fine then, the .mov file had also the right size, befor some MB were missing. maybe you got some problems with your internet connection, since you are downloading this files 3 times in a row with the same problem occurring ???
