Sorry for my very bad English :oops: . I run the scene of benchwell in 3 computers.
PC 1. Core 2 duo 6600. OS WInxp 64. 4 g ram. Result: time: 48 m 57 s.
PC 2. Core Quad 6600. OS Debian 64 bits. Result: time: 38 m 01 s.
PC 3. Core Quad 6600. OS Debian 64 bits. Result: time: 34 m 59 s.
Am I doing something badly? Are these results normal ? The posted results in http://www.benchwell.com are +/-23 m. for q6600 machines.

Results from PC2 and PC3 looks correct, no? How will I compare another hardware (PC1) to them?

There are a lot of entries in same range with different results. Can you point to a specific one?

Your PC1 is Core2Duo E6600, so it's out of comparison in this range. PC2 and PC3 match the entry with "rmw" at last line and it's 24m13s. which is faster than yours although I doubt that entry is valid because it says 1.6 (32 bit). We only have 64 bit Linux edition, yet.

Ok, tom you are right. But is so many difference of time normal between my pcs (q6600) with linux and these (from benchwell.com) with Win (q6600)?

It's very hard to make a conclusion without testing under same conditions, I mean on the same machine exactly. There could be other reasons speeding up or slowing down computers. For example, find my tests on Benchwell and see how much difference I have. :)

But, some users don't have the same experience with me and their Linux version is even faster or maybe their Windows is slower.

Since I've just expanded my farm with 3 similar servers (dual duad Core) Ill do some tests for you when I'm done installing them!

Is the Benchwell scene good to test with?

In Linux version (4 Feb 2008 version)

First of all, I use UBUNTU 7.10 x64 with all patches applied (more 180 patches)

If you use Thread option (-th:xx) with correct number of processor, Maxwell Render for Linux is very similar to Maxwell Render for Windows.

For example, if you have a quad core try with Threads option equals 4
and so on ...
