JD - in your announcement you write

"On x64 systems, the plug-in's custom file-browser did not display previews correctly."

Is this meant to mean that when looking for an HDRI image in the >Scene manager>Background Channel I should see a preview of the HDRI files in the Windows Dialogue box when I search them out in the Maxwell folder. I have no preview window showing - but I had problems before with this. Is this a windows preview reader thing and do I need additional software to show HDRI images in the thumbnails.

Hi Jonathan,

In 1.8.3 I added a plugin option, Options > User Interface > Use Custom File Dialog; if this is disabled, there will be no image preview in the file-picker. If you enable it and notice any issue, let me know, but it should be working fine now.
