my english is very poor, now i try to explain my problem:
in my studio we have 3 Macpro and 2 iMac, with Archicad 12 (testing Archicad 13) installed. every thing worked fine before to upgrade ours system at MacosX 10.6.1 SnowLeopard. After this upgrade every computer has this problem:
opening the PhotoRendering Settings panel in Archicad (Maxwell rendering engine is active engine)
1) if you clic "edit material", Macosx switch to MXED, now you can modify settings, but when you save in MXED, Archicad remain in background (is not a Crash). if you know how MACOSX Docs work, you know that when an application is runnig, under the icon of the dock, there is a small blue luminous ball, that it indicates that the program is opened. Well, after saved in mxed your changes, you are not be able to return in Archicad (the luminous little ball persists). it is impossible work with Archicad it is as if it were frozen, clic with the mouse on the Arcicad's icon in the doc (small blue light is running) it does not produce effect. Even switch CMD-TAB over Archicad, Archicad remain in background. Now if you quit MXED, also the small blue light is extinguished under the icon, and you lose all the data of the made job with Archicad, because the auto save archicad data, it seems not to work when you reopen the program.
2) launch a render....Maxwell render will start automatically after the data are passed to it from ArchiCAD. same things when you stop your render in MXCL, if you save your image MXCL, you are not be able to returning to work in Archicad, clic with the mouse on the Arcicad's icon in the doc (small blue light is running) it does not produce effect, if you quit MXCL, even Archicad quit, and you have still lost your data....
this problem happens with Maxwell 1.7.X or Maxwell 2.01. I've tryed to disinstall Maxwell 2.01, but problems, persist with 1.7
Thanks, Fabio
