Hello,

The version number of the new plug-in is 1.1000

Replicators: It doesn't work with surface generators - no support from the modo SDK:( , but otherwise we tried to do our best.

Procedurals: I don't understand this one, we haven't given support for modo procedurals:) yet. Only for the different projection modes:).

Yes I meant projection types not procedurals

The replicators do work for me.
I just did it with 150 trees
they do appear as instances in Maxwell and they render fine
I created them in modo as a replicator item on a subdivided plane

Yes it works with painted replicas and so on, and you can also use for example different tree objects in a group, to pretend variability - just like in modo.

Does it mean it will be possible in (a near) future?
It would be a big enhance!

I'm discovering Modo and am not used to UV Paint and Unwrap, so what can and can't we do with the plugin?

Also, could we use Surface Generator, or is just impossible?

Thanks

@Max : i test it today, thanks!

Cant show anything unfortunately (client work etc) but the image has nearly 40,000 pins (think pins from one of those 70's pinart toys) and no problems so far. 3DSMax just couldnt handle the scene (20 mins to lay out the instances) but modo's replicators work in the blink of an eye...

I'm in for he applause too! Thank you next limit. It has taken quite
some time but I'm confident it is a very good plugin.

Cheers
Dennis
