I am wanting to purchase onyx tree to use with maxwell and modo. But i am a little unclear as to what modo can export to maxwell as far as replicators. These being 3d trees, they are very heavy in terms of poly count. Am I right to assume that replicators in Modo are like Proxies in Max or Maya? And if i have say 100 trees just instanced or replicated will Maxwell be able to export them? I guess im wanting clarification as to what the plug-in can and can not do.Thanks Gadzooks

100 trees shouldn't be a problem for the exporter. (Maybe 100 thousand:))

But please consider that the replicator export has some limitations (it can't deal with surface generators), but otherwise it is really possible to use it for your needs I think.
