Amazingly detailed model and... I can't get over how real the renders look!
And I really like the "mouseover switching picture with wireframe/render". Hope you do that for the finished camera because that was a nice one!

These old cameras are beautiful, and it always amazes me that people actually could take great photos with them!
I've read about stuff like the Sunny16 rule and similar but I rather trust my DSLR lightmetering than my memory

+1 for the scratches.

Also I remember my Fatheres old Plate's: The middle part is alot more leathery and rough

Thank you :)

The bellow material of the camera that I model is different from yours but thank you for the tip. I am still in the modeling progress and will texture the camera when I finished modeling. So then I will add some scratches and other materials. Luckily I have chosen a less detailed camera than yours 8)

:D

Got some time to get back to the camera. :D

Here are the Maxwell outputs:

I wonder why the bump looks so different from the LW output. I copied the bump channel to the Maxwell material so I guess it should look nearly the same!?

Question: Is it possible to use a weightmap for texturing? I would like to add some scratches only to the edges as shown in the LW renders.

Thank you for your help :D

nice animation! :-)

you should use a fixed cpu id for animations ;-)
(less flickering noise)

e.g.
-idcpu:4711

maybe - but it should work without 'eau de cologne' as well. :)

Looks great. Now more people have an idea about the shutter and aperture in the camera.
