Hi JD,

I don't really want to bother you with this as I suspect you have been really busy with the new preview integration into the plug-in. It looks fantastic, by the way.

I know we have discussed the idea of a plug-in for Rhino OSX in the past and the stumbling block currently is the lack of any SDK for Rhino OSX. The McNeel stance that they are not putting out an SDK until it is released seems to be a big problem. Especially if they take so long to prepare the software for release. I would really like to spend more time on Rhino OSX as it is looking in very good shape now. However it really messes with my workflow not to have a Maxwell Plugin. I have tried to make it work without a plug-in, but it just takes me so long and I end up ditching Rhino OSX and going back to windows.

Do you have any influence over them on this?

Thanks,

glassbathroom

Sorry, but no -- they will provide an SDK, I'm sure, as soon as it is technically possible to do that.

How do you work now with Rhino OSX and Windows? Do you have C4D or other similar program?

I would assume that OSX Rhino can export OBJ and such.

Well thanks anyway. I guess we just have to wait and see.

I've gone back to using Rhino for Windows (mainly through Parallels).

I am wondering if the following news gets us one step closer to a Rhino OSX Plugin. Obviously I appreciate that a decision needs to be taken in Next Limit about devoting time to another plug-in.

Here's hoping anyway.

That was an interesting post, but what it talks about does not really apply much to this plugin.
