 Post subject: 2.6 Plug-in for Modo

Marton any idea when the plug-in will be ready for 2.6? Or is it ready and I have just overlooked it?

The plugin is ready. Isn't it up at the download area yet? I have to check what is going on.

Thanks Marton i have Downloaded it and am playing around with now. Also Marton a Big thank you for Writing the plug-in, and allowing the modo community to use maxwell render with modo. Just wanted you to know that your efforts are greatly appreciated! In time maybe luxology will open up more of the sdk which will allow you take greater advantage of modo. Thanks Gadzooks

Just chiming in with my thanks as well. Thank you for a great plug-in Marton, and for all the work you have put in to it. :)

Time to check out the new goodies in Maxwell!

Yip Im really pleased with the modo plugin and couldnt imagine modo without it! SO a big thanks to you Marton!! :D

edit:- The modo plugin does it create referenced materials automatically?

No, the materials exported from modo are not referenced materials in studio. (It is true for both converted and mxm item materials.)

And it is because: even in case of mxm item materials, the plug-in automatically changes the texture channel ids inside the materials, according to the modo texture locators.
