HI,
when I import an obj file it always comes with a normals tag. However it messes up the surface as seen in my attachment.
If I get rid of that tag it s working but it seems to show the jagged surfaces more.
Is there a way to correct this or do I live with that ?

Thanks

Alexandre

Hi,

You should check the phong tag and try different values, another thing is if the scene is in scale try to optimize (Functions--Optimize) every object to avoid unwelded points.
Hope it helps.

Cheers
JC

Note as well, that when it comes to rendering, you can experiment with the Object Properties tag's Ignore Normal Tag and Ignore Phong Tag options, which allow rendering as if those tags were deleted, without actually deleting them.
