seem like a bug to me..... as a matter of fact u have a very dark render and a very overesposed preview
that's misleading

never happening here... for preview you mean FIRE , right? or are you talking of maxwell render application? maybe a screenshot would be helpful...

i meant the smal preview window in the render window... the render in the big windows is way much darker than what i shown in the small preview window

the reason for this is that the engine used for the preview is rendering much faster than the final render engine and is using some shortcuts to do so. what you see in preview is an approximation of a much later SL, as the preview engine uses some shortcuts to show a solution faster. in many complex scenes, emitters 'develop' quite slow to their full luminosity in the rendering, thats why a scene initially is much darker in the render window than in the preview.

i thought myself that supposedely the reason was the one u explained but nonetheless i think the difference i sto much imo
