Will the grass tool have any additional application such as rugs ?
and why is hair not an internal maxwell capability but grass is ?

Hair can be dynamic.. used on deforming objects, affected by wind etc. because it is under the control of the host app.
A large area of grass would bog-down the host app, here is my latest lawn attempt, lots of grass blades but they cant be animated;
